Hello, my name is Debbie Watson, and I am the fourth-grade teacher at
St. Mary’s School. I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and went to catholic
schools in that area. I attended the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk
Jayhawk!) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary
Education. I went back to my grade school and taught 4 th grade for a time
until I moved to Atchison, Kansas with my husband. I taught 4 th , 5 th , 6 th
and 7 th grade there.

In 1998 my family moved to Wausau where I taught for several years at
Newman Catholic Schools. I have two sons, one who lives in Milwaukee
and the other who lives in Baltimore.

I am glad to be back home in Wisconsin and teaching at St. Mary’s.
