Hi! My name is Maris Doll and I am the Principal here at St. Mary’s.
I was born and raised in the neighboring town of Edgar. I attended St. John’s from K-8th grade and graduated from Edgar High School. After high school I attended Edgewood College where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studies in Education and Child Life. I began working as a Family Support Specialist with Children’s Wisconsin and fell in love with the educational piece of my job and continued to get my Masters in School Counseling from Concordia University. After graduation, I started my educational career with the School District of Edgar, where I had been for 4 years. I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Superior to complete my master’s in educational administrative leadership-Principal track.
My husband, Brandon, and I have grounded our roots just outside of Fenwood. We have 3 children, Raelynn, Michael, and Amellie who are our whole world. Well, outside of the small hobby farm and homestead we are starting. We currently have 3 dogs, Bucky (St. Bernard), Willow (Black Lab), and River (German Shepherd), 2 rabbits (Lucky and Poppy), 20 laying hens and a rooster. We are looking to expand by adding a few goats, cows, and possibly pigs within the next year. Our family is big into preserving and making our own foods and doing all of our meat processing ourselves. I have a 3 time award winning salsa recipe that has trickled down 3 generations.
Aside from my children and our small hobby farm/homestead I enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking and playing piano. I am so excited to be here and becoming part of St. Mary’s family and be able to grow in education and faith alongside every staff and student here!
