St. Mary's Junior High Choir is composed of all students in grades 7 and 8. The choir meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

The major emphasis of this group is learning vocal technique to prepare the choir for performing throughout the school year.

St. Mary's choir sings for the Veteran's Day Program in November, Christmas Concert, caroling at the Wausau Center in December, Catholic School's Week in February, Marawood Choir Festival in April, and the Home and School Meeting in May.

Students also have an opportunity to take part in the Marawood Solo-Ensemble contest in March.

The choir has consistently received first place ratings at festivals.

My name is Mrs. Langenhahn and I am the music teacher at St. Mary’s.  I teach 4K-6th grade general music classes, band and 7th and 8th grade choir.

I have lived in Marathon my whole life, and I really enjoy my time at St. Mary’s.  I have two sons, Austin and Emmett and we live on a farm just outside of town. I have many musical hobbies, but I also like to spend time doing various craft projects and playing outside with my boys.
